ISDN/ Podcast/ Self-Op
While studio 3 has the same type of audio mixing desk and outboard ISDN/
TBU units as studio 1 & 2, most of its functionality is software based and
automated. This allows for easy self-operation by you (the client), as the
simple interface you see and control (via a web link), only allows you to
make and receive ISDN telephone calls.
All other functions like volume levels, Zoom and Skype integration are all
taken care of in the background. Or you can choose to have a dedicated
engineer run and troubleshoot your session for you, to make things
completely hassle free.

We have solutions
We would always recommend doing a test connection
with all guests a few days before a studio booking, to
test the quality of microphones, cameras (and more
importantly) internet connection. We have a variety of
wireless routers that can be sent to guests with bad
internet connection, miniature HD broadcast quality
cameras & microphones that can even be controlled
remotely!!! Please feel free to get in touch to find out
more
The audio and video quality is only as good
as your Spokesperson’s microphone and
internet connection
Ideally, spokespeople for radio days or podcasts should
have a wired headset (not Blue-tooth, as that adds an
audio delay which some broadcasters find annoying). They
should be on a wired internet connection, or at least be as
close to the Wi-Fi router as possible, and should be
somewhere that doesn’t cause an echo (like a kitchen or
bathroom).Whist we put a lot of thought and time into
building studios with remote working in mind, doing away
with the need and cost for clients to have to travel to our
studios, our real-time noise cancellation and other audio
and video kit can only do so much.
